December 10, p.m. - Learn the Ps of Public Speaking. The Lakewood Piners, a chapter of Toastmasters International, will present a free seminar on the three Ps of public speaking: planning, preparation and presentation. The facilitator will be Eileen Martin, B.S. psychology and certified peer counselor.

December 11, 6: 0 p.m. - Tax Credits 2009. H & R Block will present a free seminar. Tax credits available for tax season 2009: What every taxpayer should know.

December 8, 2 p.m. - Internet Basics. Learn how to navigate the World Wide Web.

December 11, 10 a.m. - Internet Basics. Learn how to navigate the World Wide Web.

Teen Programs

December 9, p.m. - Cool Cooking. Grade five to 12. Create a gingerbread house for the holidays.

December 10, p.m. - Teen Advisory Board (TAB). Grades seven to 12. An exciting way to participate in community service by planning library programs for teens. New members are welcome, refreshments provided.

December 16 and 1 , p.m. - Gaming Night: Wii and Playstation. Grades six and up. Come to the library and have a good time playing with our Nintendo Wii or Playstation 2. Bring your friends and extra controllers (optional) for a night of fun. Light refreshments provided.

December 0, p.m. - Teen Advisory Board. Grades seven to 12. Join an exciting way to participate in community service by planning library programs for teens. New members are welcome, and refreshments provided.

Children's Programs

December 8, p.m. - Fun With Paper Crafts. Grades two and up. Get creative with paper crafts, including origami, stamping and more.

December 9, 10 a.m. - Jolly Holidays with Mother Goose. Ages 2 to 5 years with caregiver. Come meet Mother Goose and join in the fun as we celebrate the holidays with rhymes, flannel graphs, a craft and more.

December 10, 10 a.m. - Babies at the Library. Ages 12 to 23 months with caregiver. Join us for some fun with finger plays, songs and rhymes.
