OceanFirst Bank Launches 2009 Community Calendar Contest
OCEAN COUNTY - The Annual OceanFirst Bank Calendar Contest is underway, and photographers are invited to submit original, local photographs to be displayed in the bank's 2009 community calendar.
Suggested themes include seasonal scenes of familiar local landmarks, beaches, oceans or lakes within Ocean, Monmouth and Middlesex counties. Photographs must be in color, formatted 10 inches wide by 8 inches deep, horizontally and submitted on a CD as a TIFF or EPS file with a resolution of 300 dpi. All submitted images must be accompanied by an 8 inch by 10 inch print. There is a limit of five submissions per photographer.
A panel of judges, comprised of OceanFirst Bank officers, will be randomly selected. Photos will be judged on composition, quality and suitability. More than 12,000 calendars will be distributed among OceanFirst customers and the general public throughout Ocean, Monmouth and Middlesex counties during November and December. Recognition will be awarded to each photographer featured in the calendar, along with a small byline to include artist information.
Photographers can submit their original work via mail to OceanFirst Bank, Marketing Department/ Calendar Contest, 975 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, on a disk or dropped off. No photo will be accepted unless accompanied by a signed official entry form, which can be downloaded from the OceanFirst Bank Web site, www.oceanfirst.com, or requested via e-mail at calendarcontest@oceanfirst.com.
