Supporting Councilwoman Emily Ingram
Councilwoman Emily Ingram is running for re-election to her council position. I support my wife and her honest feelings to be the best person she can be for the residents of Jackson Township. My wife has always given of herself to many organizations, of which she has personally and professionally been involved; she has always been passionate about giving back to her community. Her first thoughts are always about "doing the right thing." I have seen her go out of her way to help the residents of Jackson Township by giving them her heartfelt encouragement and support.
Emily has always believed that anyone who wants to have a better community should involve themselves and contribute to the positive. She always sees the positive in people and is able to bring out their attributes through words of encouragement. One of the biggest things that I have seen my wife do was when she worked with 26 people in Atlantic City who were on welfare, and her goal was to help them feel positive about themselves and give them the skills to obtain employment. Well after six months of hard work and many sleepless nights, Emily personally achieved helping 23 out of 26 obtain full-time employment. Her parents will be the first to say, she has always put herself out there to help someone else, and never speaks about it. This trait is the sole reason why she decided to run for council two years ago and has decided to rerun.
She has spent time with the school officials, parents of our students, the Police Department and clergy people to bring about a safe driving awareness program for teenage drivers. She has also been instrumental in providing cost saving measures for the township and the school board budgets. She is a true believer that our government should be responsible to give residents a quality township. She has fought for the right EMS provider and has great respect for all those who volunteer. She will continue to help our senior citizens with all of their concerns. Emily Ingram has listened to many of Jackson's residents and is always there when residents call her with their concerns. All of our friends, and family, as well as people that personally know us, have no question as to the integrity of her community involvement.
Our elected officials, and those who wish to be elected, need the support of all the voters in order to help make the election process work for a better Jackson. I believe that it is very important to vote in all elections.
Vote for Emily Ingram because she cares about the community. She is a voice for the people of Jackson Township. Emily Ingram will fight to keep our government service financially sound and she will always stand up for the people of Jackson. I believe in her and I support her, because she believes in "doing the right thing."
