Ocean County Parks And Recreation Announce Tennis Events
LAKEWOOD - Freeholder John C. Bartlett Jr. announced that the Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation will be conducting a tennis clinic and racket demonstration day on May 16 (Rain date May 23). The event will be held at the Ocean County Park, Route 88.
The clinic, conducted by the Ocean Tennis Center of Toms River, will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, and the cost is $10. They will have new racket demos, refreshments and prizes will be included as well as on-thecourt play. Please not level of play when registering.
To register, send a check made payable to County of Ocean, and mail it to Ocean County Parks and Recreation, 1198 Bandon Road, Toms River, NJ 08753. Please provide your name, address and daytime telephone number along with program #183494-1A when registering.
In addition, Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation will be conducting a Senior Doubles Tennis Program on Wednesday beginning on May 21 to June 11 at the Ocean County Park.
The event will be held from 9:30 to11 a.m., and the fee is $8 for the season. The program is designed for intermediate through advanced players. Rain days cannot be rescheduled.
