Kids Day America-International To Be Held
JACKSON - On May 17, communities worldwide will participate in the 13th Annual Kids Day America/International. This is an awareness day which pertains to children's health, safety and environmental issues. Dr. Jodi Kinney, of Intrinsic Chiropractic Center, will be sponsoring the event. It will be held inside the Jackson Fitness Center, 260 North Countyline Road, from noon to 3 p.m. This is the fifth consecutive year Dr. Kinney and her staff have organized this great event in Jackson, and it's been an excellent way to bring the community together.
Dr. Jodi will provide essential information on crime prevention, child safety and environmental awareness. The officewill donate special child ID/DNA kits to the first 200 children who attend, and the Jackson Police Department will be on hand to provide free fingerprinting of all the children. The firedepartment is bringing their firetruck and will teach firesafety tips to the children.
Dr. Jodi will provide free spinal exams and scoliosis screenings and distribute vital information on disease prevention and specific health issues that affect children. There will also be dental identification,vision screenings and child fitness assessments. In addition, they will be offering free face painting, balloons and snacks. There will be special giveaways and prize drawings every 15 minutes.
