JACKSON VOTERS DEFEAT SCHOOL BUDGET FOR EIGHTH STRAIGHT YEAR

      For the eighth consecutive year, voters said no to the Jackson School District budget. Voters defeated the 2008-2009 proposed budget by a tally of 3,319 to 2,741. Allison Erwin, communications specialist for the district, said the budget defeat is an obvious disappointment.
